New To City Church

Whether City Church is the first church you've ever been to or you've been around church before, we know that you may have lots of questions and you may even be nervous about walking through the doors.

We've tried to answer some of your questions below, but  if you still have more, why not email them to us using the form provided.

What kind of church is City Church?

City Church is passionate about our area, passionate about people and most of all passionate about God; our desire is to see North East Lincolnshire transformed by God’s power.

We are a family of believers, who celebrate God through vibrant worship, who love the Word of God, who believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.

City Church is a member of the Evangelical Alliance and is part of the Groundlevel network of churches.

What are our values?

With the empowering of God’s Holy Spirit we endeavour to be people of worship, prayer and biblical understanding who are fully mobilised, serving in social action, evangelism and World Mission from a foundation of strong relationships.

What happens on a Sunday?

Sunday Services

We love gathering together on a Sunday and people are always on hand to welcome you. If you are not able to join us in person, we'd love to connect with you on our live stream over on YOUTUBE.

We kick off our service all joined together with a time of singing (we call it worship) then at around 10.45am our children head off to their own dedicated program at CITY Kids. For those who remain in the main service we spend a little longer singing, followed by a time of praying and then we get stuck into a bible based message.

After the service we have time to hang out, connect, catchup and spend quality time together, with free drinks  and snacks over in our Community Hall.

At City Church everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to come as you are, however you feel comfortable. We’d love to get to know you.
